Doylestown Airport Schedules Annual “Celebration of Flight” Open House for May 17

Doylestown Airport’s annual “Celebration of Flight” Open House will take place on Saturday, May 17 (rain date Sunday, May 18) from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Airport (located at the intersection of Old Easton and Landisville Roads, Doylestown).  Sponsored by the Bucks County Airport Authority and the Doylestown Pilot Association this event is free and open to the community. Doylestown Airport Seeks Historical Photos, Documents and Accounts for Open House Celebration

Doylestown Airport is seeking photos, documents and accounts pertaining to the Airport’s history.  These items will be used in a display during the Airport’s annual Open House and 80th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, May 17.   Individuals or organizations that have materials or accounts of interest to share, should contact Gwen Coverdale at 267.884.6328 or gwen@cabincommunications.com by May 2.

Bucks County Airport Authority Awards Tree Grants to Two Local Organizations  

This Year Marks the 10th Year Anniversary of the Authority’s Tree Donation Program

Doylestown, PA – The Bucks County Airport Authority (BCAA) recently selected the Borough of Quakertown and Chal-Brit Regional Emergency Medical Services as the 2008 beneficiaries of its Tree Donation Program.  Under this program, each organization will receive $1,000 for the purchase of trees. Read more...
