    Bucks County Airport Authority Now Accepting Applications for Tree Donations

The Bucks County Airport Authority (BCAA) is now accepting applications for its 2012 Tree Donation Program. Under this program the BCAA offers grants for trees to be placed in parks, school yards or other public places in Bucks County.  The BCAA pays for the cost of purchasing the trees, but it is the responsibility of the recipient to arrange for the planting and maintenance of donated trees.

Bucks County Airport Authority Awards Tree Grants to Two Local Organizations

The Bucks County Airport Authority (BCAA) recently selected Hilltown Township Parks, Recreation and Open Space Departments and Bensalem Township School District as the 2011 beneficiaries of its Tree Donation Program. Date Set for Annual “Celebration of Flight” Open House

Mark your calendar now and don't miss Doylestown Airport's annual "Celebration of Flight" open house picnic on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free even is open to the public and is held on the Airport grounds, located at the intersection of Old Easton and Landisville Roads in Doylestown.

At this family-friendly event, guests will enjoy food, music, radio controlled aircraft demonstrations and airplane rides. In the event of rain, the picnic will take place on Sunday, May 22.

Doylestown Airport will host its fifth annual
"Celebration of Flight" open house picnic on Saturday, May 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  This free event is open to the public and takes place on the Airport grounds. 

During the picnic, guests will enjoy sky rides, music, aircraft displays, children's activities and an array of picnic fare.  In the event of rain, the picnic will take place on Sunday, May 16.

       Longtime Doylestown Resident

Pilot Recognized for 50 Years of Safe Flying

Longtime Doylestown resident Richard Becker, now of Columbia , NJ , was recently presented with the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Wright Brother’s Master Pilot Award. The award recognizes pilots who have demonstrated professionalism, skill and aviation expertise by maintaining safe flights for 50 years or more. Click here to read more.

Every year since 2000, the Bucks County Airport Authority (BCAA) and Doylestown Pilot Association (DPA) have hosted a picnic in honor of a local volunteer organization that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the community. Announces New Board Member
